Usability study for System Center Configuration Manager Users (Puget Sound Only)

One of the Program Managers in User Research sent me a heads up on a ConfigMgr study that's coming up in a few weeks so if you're in or around the Puget Sound area and are interested in helping shape the next version of Configuration Manager then this will be right up your alley:

========

Microsoft Usability is conducting a study focusing on design ideas for the next version of System Center Configuration Manager from July 21 to July 25, 2008.  Sessions are limited, though we do have openings we are currently scheduling into. This is a great opportunity for Configuration Manager users who have experience working with System Center Configuration Manager to provide feedback and help improve the user experience of the next version.

The study will be conducted in a lab setting on Microsoft’s main campus in Redmond, Washington, and it is important for you to know that you do not need to prepare anything for this. We want to learn from you, the experts, to determine what needs to be improved in our software. As a token of our appreciation each participant will receive a gift item they select from a list of some of Microsoft's most popular hardware and software titles.

If you are interested or know someone who could be interested in participating, please email us at itusable@microsoft.com with ConfigMgr 2007 in subject line. For information on other studies and to learn more about Microsoft's User Research program email us.

========

If you're in the area and available I'd highly recommend signing up.  It's a lot of fun, you get a cool opportunity to help shape the next version of the product and you get some nice swag to boot.

Enjoy!
