TechEd 2004 - Day 1

I don't arrive in San Diego until Wednesday, but I guess there's nothing to stop me blogging between now and then<g>. 

If you haven't heard, TechEd 2004 officially kicked off today in San Diego. One highlight from Steve Ballmer's keynote was the RTM (Release To Manufacturing) of WSE 2.0 (Web Services Enhancements).  Key WSE 2.0 features include WS-Security (compliant with the OASIS WS-Security standard), WS-SecureConversation (think: SSL for WS messages), WS-Trust, and a host of new tools.
