Who am I/what do I do?

I work for Microsoft New Zealand as the Developer and Platform Evangelism lead. I also have a cross Tasman role charged with assisting Independent Software Vendors in lining up with our technical strategy.

What does that really mean? – I’ll leave that to the next post…

Historically before joining Microsoft I’ve always worked for consultancies. My last major role was as the Head of Solution Development and Lead Solutions Architect for Capgemini UK.

Outside of work my life’s been busy over the last year I: left the UK, got married, honeymooned, returned to NZ, got reunited with friends and faimily and started working. I now live in Auckland and I’m currently attempting to get fit again… Which is not as easy as you'd think!
