Happy Holidays from the SCM team!

I’ve been heads-down with the SCM Engineering Team the last couple of weeks planning the next release of Security Compliance Manager (SCM), version 2.0. I’m pretty excited about this release – it is going to take the application / solution to the next level. As I’ve mentioned previously, the focus of the release is simplicity. SCM is just too complicated to use. I hope you like what we are changing about it – it’s based solely on what we’ve heard from the thousands of people who are using it.

I will blog the list of changes as soon as I am able to – once it is all locked and loaded. Expect a beta from us in a couple of months. I’m also debating a CTP (Customer Technology Preview) of the GPO Import feature to get some early feedback on it. Let me know what you think about that – if you are willing to look at both a CTP and a Beta before we release it.

If you’ve emailed me recently, sorry! J I’m just now starting to dig back out of the hole. All my Christmas presents are ready to go. I’m traveling to see my family down in Florida. I won’t miss the Seattle 40’s – ready for some sun and 60-80’s!!

Please have a happy holiday season and prepare yourself for an awesome year of SCM goodness. Thanks for using and loving SCM! Cheers!

Oops sorry, about the last comment.  I can't read.  It's not officially released yet.  Well, hoping for the CTP then.  If not,  then I'll wait for the beta.

Went to download this, but it appears to be version 1.  www.microsoft.com/.../details.aspx (version 1.1.3.0). Where can we get V 2.0?
