Sometimes, you just don't want to know how short you are
Marty, this blog post is for you. =)
I flew down to San Fran last night with Alan. It was my first (and last) experience in First Class. As soon as i sat down, i turned to Alan and asked, "do your feet touch the ground?"
There was anywhere from 6 inches of air under my heels and at least 10 inches under my toes. I sat with my feet on the seat the entire time. I never saw this one coming.

I guess when you are 5 foot nothing and weight 90lbs soaking wet... well, even the middle seats in coach probably seem "roomy" to you. BObAnonymous

Don't they have footstools in First Class?! You should have complained. By way of compensation, my one and only experience of First Class was a free upgrade on a leg of a domestic US journey. I sat down in the First Class cabin for about 45 minutes before they informed us that the flight was cancelled due to bad weather, so we trooped off again. Didn't seem very long. In fact, you might say that my feet didn't touch the ground. Haha, I made a funny.Anonymous

Brendan - you must've flown United. :) I'm about the same size as you (a little taller), and let me tell you, that $52 is worth it on a long flight. Flying on airplanes is one of those times I wish I was short.Anonymous

What's worse is when you need to use a public restroom and you find yourself in the feet-dangling situation. All in all though, I find that being short is much easier than I hear being tall is.Anonymous

It's not how short you are or how you look physically that matters...... What matters is your personality ...!!Anonymous
