Cross Browser testing tool from Microsoft
When it comes to cross browser testing, people use multiple approaches. Some prefer to use different VPC/VMs with different browser setup whereas some prefers to install-finish-uninstall approach on same VPC. No matter what approach you choose, you are bound to spend a lot of time shifting between either machines/browsers.
VS 2010 test edition comes with a feature to test your application on multiple browsers. This may come handy but think from a service provider’s view – every QA resource would need VS 2010 test edition to be installed on their machine and then do the testing. (Which is costly affair both in terms of money/time)..
I found a handy tool from Microsoft which is very cool. Here are the basic details from MSDN download page…
Microsoft Expression Web SuperPreview for Windows Internet Explorer
Expression Web SuperPreview for Internet Explorer not only shows a high-fidelity rendering of how pages will look on different browsers, but it also identifies the element’s tag, size and position, applied styles, and location in the DOM (Document Object Model) tree so you can quickly fix the error.
Expression Web SuperPreview for Internet Explorer is a standalone, free application with no expiration and no technical support from Microsoft.
If you’d like to debug your pages for both Internet Explorer and Firefox, download the free 60-day trial of Microsoft Expression Web.

Is Microsoft Expression Web SuperPreview support multiple web browsers ( mozilla firefox, IE, Chrome ) ? or does it only support multiple versions of IE browsers ( 6.0, 7.0 ) ? After downloading, I see the latter is true.Anonymous

It only supports IE browsers... One of the other tools could be Webi for automating the firefox/IE based tests.
