Using the Automated Receptionist
Brett asked the following question:
Can you customize the auto attendant? I have clients that have a sales team, accounting team, and support team. They would want the auto attendant to route to one of the groups, which would be a hunt group of 4 to 5 phones. So if someone called and wanted sales they would say “sales” and it would route to the Sales Hunt Group.
The answer is yes!
Create a new user of type "group" and give it a name (like "Sales"). Add as many other users as you like (probably everyone in sales) to the group. See how the automated receptionist automatically lets callers say the name of the person or group they want to call:
This is a very common Response Point scenario and we expect many businesses to use it. We think it would make it very easy for, say, a car dealership to let customers call and simply say "New car sales" or "service" and the correct phones would ring. The first person to answer -- and usually, to the caller, it doesn't matter -- gets the call.

For each phone you want to ring, simply assign "Sales" as one of the alternate users. Whenever you speak the name "Sales" to the auto-receptionist, all phones with that group name associated will ring.Anonymous

"Add as many other users as you like (probably everyone in sales) to the group." This is where I am having a problem. I made a group called Sales but how to I tell it what users or phone to ring when someone wants that group?
