Redmond Channel Partners Reviews RP
We're in the news this week with a nice article by Joanne Cummings over at Redmond Channel Partners, which concludes:
Microsoft has hit the sweet spot for small businesses with Response Point. It has the right mix of features and price to let small businesses implement a professional IP phone system, without the overhead of managing and maintaining something designed for far larger enterprises.
Thanks -- that's what we think too!
Incidentally, one part of the article might be a bit misleading. Under "missing features", it notes that "the phone software only supports 10Mbps or 100Mbps connections". It's true that the current phone handsets from Syspine and D-Link include Ethernet pass-through functions that work only at those speeds, but the software itself doesn't care about your network speed. If you need a faster network, you always have the option of plugging your phone and PC into your 1Gbps LAN directly and we'll work just fine.
