7 lbs. of M&Ms means only one thing.

If you follow Microsoft culture then you've undoubtedly heard about the distribution of M&Ms on employee anniversaries. Specifically, it is tradition to put one pound of M&Ms for each year you've worked at Microsoft in a bowl outside your office. Today there is a bowl with seven pounds of M&Ms outside my door. If you're in the Redmond area, I encourage you to stop by my office and have some. If you're off campus, drop me a note via the contact and I'll let the building receptionist know to expect you.

Congratulations Rob.  Everyone I know that works for Microsoft has nothing but great things to say about working for the company.  Email me when there are 14 pounds outside your door and I'll fly to Washington to help you eat them.

You'll need a much bigger chair outside of your office when you get to the 14th pound ;-)
