NFTE Chicago Partners With Starbucks To Launch Entrepreneurs
Microsoft has long been a friend of the Network for Teaching Entrepreneurship, or NFTE, a wonderful non-profit with outposts in many U.S. cities which empowers at-risk youth to launch their own businesses...while in high school. Our collaboration has manifested itself most recently in a series of "Geek 2 Chic" fashion shows, the proceeds of which go directly to NFTE.
NFTE Chicago - the beneficiary of our Geek 2 Chic: Chicago show last fall at Bloomingdale's Michigan Ave - has launched an exciting partnership with Starbucks during April to support their entrepreneurship education programs. The support and votes from loyal Publicyte readers could help NFTE Chicago receive a significant donation from the Starbucks Foundation. Now that's what I'd call a 'grande' investment in the future of thousands of young people.
You can vote multiple times. If you support NFTE and NFTE Chicago, you can vote each week during April for the Starbucks " Vote. Give. Grow." program. NFTE Chicago is one of four organizations competing for the most votes. Your votes will have a significant impact on the creation of Chicago's next generation of entrepreneurs and business leaders. More votes, more money!
There are 4 very simple steps to take part:
1,,) Pick up a Starbucks card or use your existing card
2) Log onto Starbucks.com/VoteGiveGrow
3) Opt-in to the Community Card program
4) Vote for NFTE once per week during the month of April
Supporting a great cause like NFTE is good. But helping Starbucks help them is simply delicious.
