Part 3 is all about communication and tracking of the project.  We’ll make sure that

  • We are able to print off the project, exactly in the format we want to
  • The project is updated using the appropriate method and frequency
  • We can create and print off relevant reports
  • We can add new tasks, and mark ones we no longer need

Chapter Event: Project Online- Is It Right For Me?

Microsoft Project Online has been with us now as an online solution for two years. In fact, many organizations, large and small, have migrated their PPM business to this subscription based platform. Yet, amongst the PPM community, questions remain in regards to Project Online. Can this online tool in fact simplify my IT by migrating to the “cloud?” How is my data stored and how do I get access to it? How is it different than using a traditional hosted solution? In short, is Project Online a viable option for my organization?

In this session, we will explore the following topics:

  • Project Online advantages and limitations compared with a traditional on-premises or hosted Project Server solution
  • What organizations would primarily benefit from this simplified deployment strategy
  • Talk about the latest and greatest features in Project Online, Microsoft’s roadmap and some exciting partner solutions (App’s) that are transforming how people use Microsoft’s PPM solution
  • Pricing structure of Project Online

Presented by: Shivakumar is a PMI certified PMP and RMP who has immense experience in Tutoring, e-Learning and Healthcare industries. He has 12+ years of overall all experience out of which 8 years have been dedicated to Project Management, Process Implementation and Improvement. Shivakumar has completed his graduation in Electronics but due to his high interest in teaching, he moved into an e-learning company where the scope for teaching and training is high.
