Making Families Safer with the Microsoft HealthVault Emergency Profile Link Program

Sean Nolan writes on the Microsoft Family Health Blog:

I’m really proud of the emergency preparedness feature we launched a few weeks ago. Our approach of making a shared profile available in multiple emergency settings (wallet cards, online codes, MedicAlert, Vitaband, etc.) is really resonating --- yippee! Give it a try yourself!

But in order for eprep to matter, we have to get the word out. That’s how you can help. If you have a blog, a health or family website, a health-related mobile application, you participate on family forums, whatever --- please add one of our free banners to help people be safer!

The Microsoft HealthVault Emergency Profile Link Program

There are a ton of shapes and sizes (a few shown at the end of this post), and all it takes is a simple cut and paste to get one onto your site. If you’d like to go a step further and cobrand the experience, just drop us a note at hvbd@microsoft.com and we’ll get that set up too.

Remember, HealthVault is completely free, and all use of the data is by strict and explicit opt-in only (you can see our ONC PHR privacy notice here). This isn’t about money --- it’s about helping real people have the information they need, when and where they need it.

Need more information? Just drop me a note using the contact info here on the blog, anytime.

Thank you!
