Did You Ever Felt That PHP's Performance Is Not Very Good On Windows ?

Well atleast i did, when i was developing a project with PHP. but looks like those days are gone..! I can clearly see a new era or collaborations, interoperability .. Do You ?

Yesterday at Zendcon Bill Hilf and Andi Gutmans announced a new technical collaboration aimed at improving the performance of PHP on Windows both for IIS 6 as well as in the future including IIS 7 on Longhorn.  The partnership has multiple components including Microsoft releasing a FastCGI add-on for IIS and Zend will establish a Windows testing lab to ensure high performance on an ongoing basis.

Hi, You have right, if you use the same version of the package under: Win, Linux or Mac OS! The Open Source EasyEclipse is en-vogue. Try Linux platform instead of Windows XP, in the PHP & EasyEclipse context. See the above page from URL field. Apropos: I use EaseEclipse 1.2.2 under Win XP for small Java developments. I was obliged to renounce at Linux SuSE 10.1 for a while. My DVD ... damaged; I use a basic DSL at home having ONE Mbps bandwidth only. I have a lot of work to do at the institute.
