Microsoft IT Showcase

In my job of evangelizing Microsoft technologies to our largest customers I often end up using Microsoft's internal IT experience as an example of large scale deployment.  Our IT department is quite large and has to support some of the most demanding customers (Microsoft employees) out there.  Therefore they have quite a bit of experience and best practices on how to deploy our software in large scale and mission critical scenarios. 

 Microsoft IT Showcase gives everyone a view on how they do these types of deployments and makes available the best practices and lessons learned from each of these.  These are especially useful for early adoptors of our technologies that don't have external references to go to when they're deploying.  I would highly reccommend taking a look at this article and case study to see if the work with .NET 3.0 can be applied to your organization.
