Northern NJ .NET User Group meeting TONIGHT! May 9th

Tonight is the next meeting of the Northern NJ .NET user group  (aka N3UG).  N3UG meets at the SetFocus facility in Parsippany, NJ.  Tonight's speaker will be Andrew Brust from 26NY (formerly Citigate Hudson).

What's so good about SQL Server 2005 OLAP?
SQL Server 2005 Analysis Services, with its Unified Dimensional Model, has turbo-charged its OLAP capabilities. OLAP solutions in SQL 2005 are incredibly useful to business because they’re more powerful than their SQL 2000 counterparts, easier to develop, and can be based on real-time or near-real time data. This session will show you how to use new Visual Studio designers to create OLAP cubes, and then acquaint you with powerful new features like .NET CLR stored procedures, Key Performance Indicators, Perspectives, Translations and pro-active caching. You’ll leave understanding the business imperative for OLAP as well as its implementation.

[Update] Unfortunately, Andrew wasn't able to make it.  Instead Miguel Castro lead the group in a BOF Q&A session.
