The Visual Studio 2005 Image Library
I've noticed several customers asking about the Microsoft Visual Studio 2005 Image Library, which is a collection of application images that appear in Microsoft Windows, Microsoft Office, Microsoft Visual Studio, and other Microsoft software. You can use this set of over 1,000 images to create applications that look visually consistent with Microsoft software.
More information is available in the Visual Studio 2005 Image Library Help topic. This Help topic also includes a pointer to how to install the Visual Studio 2005 Image Library.
By the way, when you register your copy of Visual Studio 2005, depending on the product edition that you register, your benefits may include the Corbis Image Pack -- an assortment of 250 royalty-free images from Corbis for inclusion in your Web sites and applications; and IconBuffet Studio Edition Icon Suite -- a collection of over 100 professional, royalty-free stock icons from IconBuffet.com. To register your copy of Visual Studio 2005, on the Help menu, click Register Product.
