Server 2012 R2 expand Storage Space functionality with Storage Tiers, Write-back cache, Dual Parity and automated rebuild of Storage Spaces from free space in Storage Pools.
· 11:10-12:00 - Workplace Join and Work Folders –
Workplace Join makes it possible to expand access to resources from Windows and iOS devices. Work Folders can be described as SkyDrive, however synchronizing data to existing internal Server 2012 R2 file servers- A practical approach will be presented.

Hyper-V has proven its capability in large enterprise environments. With Server 2012 the list of applicability’s for Hyper-V was expanded substantially with Hyper-V Replica, Storage Migration and the placement of VM on SMB 3.0 file share. With Windows Server 2012 R2 the list is even longer, including Shared virtual hard disk, Storage Quality of Service, Enhanced session mode. Upgrades within export of VM’s, Resize of virtual hard disks support and Hyper-V Replica
