Microsoft BizSpark Camps 2015 by MIC Karachi

The BizSpark 2015 program was launched in March 2015 to help talented startups with mentorship, software support and training workshops. Once the registrations were closed, the team at MIC Karachi embarked upon three-phased BizSpark camps where participants were trained on different technologies such as Windows Azure, Cross platform App Development and other modules.

Our trainers comprised community members and former Microsoft Student Partners and the workshops were instrumental in inculcating the much needed software development skills among our inducted startups.

a.  BizSpark Azure Camp

The BizSpark Azure Camp was held in June. The training was given by our community member Suraj Kumar along with the support of Usama Mustafa from Microsoft.

b.  BizSpark App Development Camp

The BizSpark App Development Camp was held from June 8, to June 10, 2015 where the training was given by our former Microsoft Student Partner from PAF-KIET named Abdul Haseeb. The App Development training encapsulated different modules of app development, from the idea phase to the development, and publishing on the store.

c.  BizSpark Business Camp

The BizSpark Business Camp was designed to give participants a basic understanding of formulating business plans and giving a structure to their business ideas. The Business camp was held from Monday, June 15, to Tuesday, June 16, 2015.

The session was extremely interactive where attendees were made to really understand their business. They were gradually walked through the components of a business plan, and were asked to create a business plan throughout the duration of the workshop.
