MVP Visit

Last week we had several Microsoft Game Studios MVP's tour our offices, a few of which are MVP's due to their involvement with Aces. It was good to see Owen and Joel in the halls chatting with team members.

Owen spent some time with Brandon and I for a little while and I had him try his hand at a multi-player Red Bull race. I was surprised at how well he did for his first time and he seemed to have a really good time. It was fun seeing someone other than a team member partake in some FSX Adrenaline and provide direct feedback. Soon we will be conducting tests with Microsoft employees that are flight sim fans and then we will start bringing in Flight Sim users outside of Microsoft, so we will be getting a lot more feedback soon.

Last week I also finished hooking up a new single player "pursuit" mission that I was really enjoying. I employed some random AI paths that helps replay value and varies the challenges slightly each time.  This week I need to start hooking up a helicopte rmission using some of our new systems.

Hopefully tomorrow the new Mustang racing engine model will get checked along with associated racing failures when you push it too hard. I will be fun and interesting flying fast around the course at Reno while keeping the engine in one piece.

Hi Paul, Many thanks for the mention, and thanks again for letting me bug you guys a bit - it was great getting to see what all the hype is about, and I'm here to say that it is very much deserved! Best, Owen
