Recently Skype for Android reached a major milestone: installation on more than 100 million Android phones worldwide!
This is part of the vision for Skype’s Mobile Future, delivering a modern design that puts conversations first, focuses on quality and performance, and enables a common set of experiences across multiple platforms and devices.
The Skype team recently continued along this path, releasing the all-new Skype for Android 4.0. Following the Windows Phone 8 app release late last year, the team wanted to deliver an equally bold and modern design for Android users. The result is a brand new Android app that not only looks good, but was also rebuilt from the ground up to be faster and more reliable.
