The Lync 2013 team recently released a series of mobile apps that bring robust communication features, including voice and video, rich presence, instant messaging, and conferencing, to your Windows Phone, iPhone, iPad, or Android device.

 Lync is a powerful tool for connecting with colleagues around the globe or a co-worker in a cubical around the corner. These new mobile apps extend the enterprise Lync experience to wherever you are, all from a single, easy-to-use interface.

Want to know if someone is available right now? View colleagues’ availability in real time and select the best way to communicate – initiating an instant message, email, voice or video call.

The mobile app can also forward or simultaneously ring calls to your mobile device so you’ll never miss an important call.

Gone too are the days of searching for a passcode while trying to join a conference call. You can simply connect to Lync meetings with a single touch, without requiring long numeric passcodes or dial-in numbers.
