The Office 2010 Beta expires October 31, 2010

Michael C. Oldenburg from the Microsoft Office Blog sends the following gentle reminder about the upcoming expiration of the Office 2010 Beta:

Didn't it seem like only yesterday when we made the Microsoft Office 2010 Beta available? Actually, it's been nearly a year! Since then, Office 2010 has experienced over 9 million downloads — more than 6 times the size of the Office 2007 Beta.

With so many folks out there using the Office 2010 Beta, this is our gentle reminder that the Beta is set to expire on Halloween. For those of you who live outside of North America, that's Sunday, October 31, 2010.

Find tips for moving to the released version of Office 2010 and more in the Microsoft Office Blog, and visit Office.com to download one of our fully functional 60-day trial versions.

@Angie - if you saved your documents to your hard drive, they are still available. You can download and install a free 60-day trial of the final release of Office 2010 at office.microsoft.com/try. Once the trial version is installed, you can access your documents. This will also give you the opportunity to try out the final release for 60 days and determine whether you would like to purchase it.

Sure am glad to see this now that it is too late to do anything feasible about the problem of not being able to get to any of my school documents.  Shame shame!
