IE7 Beta 2

Delicious! I finally decided to jump in and give IE7 Beta 2 a shot and I am just loving it. Just got done uninstalling my loyal Avant Browser (sn iff!sniff!). In the past 2.5 years I have gone from CrazyBrowser and MyIE2 to MSN toolbar to Avant and can finally be satisfied with IE itself. Gotta give Kudos to the IE team for a great looking Beta2. Next time round I hope we (as in Microsoft) jump faster on the updates and don't wait for Mozilla to take X % share before reacting.

Another great tool that I have recently run into is Foxit Reader - a lightweight PDF file reader - no more waiting 5 minutes for Adobe Reader to load and display an IRS form. Got to it from the PCWorld top 100 freebies list - worth checking out.

Bummer - that it has been problematic for you. I would try to check on the Connect feedback site if there are any reported issues like the one you are facing. Sometimes they will have workarounds mentioned that can be useful to you. Has been working quite nicely for me so far (fingers crossed).

I love it too, but now beta3 has been released, and I can't uninstall beta 2. I opened Add/Remove programs, located "internet explorer 7 beta2" in the main list (and not as a "unpdate"), clicked on it, and nothing happened. Unfortunately, the "internet explorer 7 beta2" item disdappeared from the list of installed programs, and now I don't know how to uninstall it. IE 7 does not even appear as an update of windows.
No need to say, when I try to install beta2, it tells me IE 7 is already installed, and in fact it is.
    Can anybody help me?

    Thank you in advance!
