WPF Times Reader

Richard has posted about the availability of the New York Times Reader... this is the first customer lead beta of a WPF application that I am aware of... check it out for yourself.

The reader is fantastic and snappy... readibility is awesome it goes a long way to combine the experience of a desktop application with a web application... the search capability is great but from first looks it appears to only be as deep as the offline article store.

I guess I would have liked to have seen clickonce deployment in there... I need to understand further what the blockers were from using that technology.

Combine this with MAX and you can really see how these .NET 3.0 applications are starting to take shape.
