New Zealand Visual Studio Team System Competition

I have been busy today finalising the Visual Studio Team System Competition... We racked our brains as a team and came up with what hope will be a little incentive to get people trying out the awesome new Visual Studio Team System.

I have only just begun spending some time building stuff in VSTS and I'm pleasantly surprised at how cool some of the features are. Being a fan of nunit myself I found the test projects in team developer intuitive and rewarding. The source control in VSTS is a remarkable improvement over VSS and I even managed to write my own check in policy that required developers to "comment" their check-in's so that it behaved just like good old VSS.

I know allot of you have been using Visual Studio 2005 for some time now... why not combine those skills with VSTS and see what you can come up with.

Well enough from me... let me introduce you to the competition. This weekend is a great time to get started on your submission.

Who knows you may be the one standing up in front of 200 of your peers at tech-ed sharing your success story and receiving great prizes for yourself and the company that you work for/ own or are looking for a raise in ;)

P.S. I know the difference between a competition and an event... I simply thought that by using the event system to register entries it would save us time launching this competition for you :)

Enjoy the ride...
