things I learned via Twitter
I've got a few Office:Mac-related searches set up as saved searches in my Twitter client. I've learned plenty of things through this.
Lots of people watch the HBO series "Entourage" while eating mac and cheese. I've considered trying to guess what other foods one might eat while watching that series and seeing how they compare to all of the mac'n'cheese eaters I see, but it hasn't yet trickled to the top of my to-do list yet. I also find myself wondering about the habits of these mac'n'cheese eaters. Do they prefer Kraft, or Velveeta, or Annie's (my fave, and sold at Costco just in case you're worried about running out), or maybe a generic, or are they all eating really awesome homemade mac'n'cheese? Twitter's 140 characters are not enough for me to know.
Inexplicably, McSweeney's has written a screenplay for Microsoft Entourage. The geekery inherent in that is immense. I feel like I should have been eating some mac'n'cheese while reading it. Reading some of the retweeting of that, I'm pretty sure that there's lots of people who don't fully get the joke.
Our SP2 announcement got lots upon lots of tweeting and retweeting. Yay for that. An unexpected source of retweeting came from @majornelson, the Xbox guy (who's also a Mac user, not to mention an all-around nice guy who sent me photos while he was in Iraq).
The folks at MAC cosmetics have make a product called Powerpoint eye pencil. I had no idea.
For those of you who are on twitter but aren't following me, you can do so here. If you're curious what my saved searches are, they're entourage mac, powerpoint mac, office mac, macbu, and entourage exchange.
