got questions? go on and ask
I haven't done an open Q&A post in awhile, so ... if you've got questions, go ahead and ask 'em. I'll answer to the best of my ability. That doesn't mean that you'll definitely get an answer, but I'll do my best.

I have just loaded Office to my new and first Mac after a lifetime of PC living. So far things aren't going very well since I can't even run Xcel and I use it heavily for my work. I've already downloaded the updates, but nothing seems to keep Xcel from crashing as soon as I try to start working. This has happened EVERY SINGLE TIME I've opened Xcel and tried to work with it. I'll spare you the profanities and choice thoughts I have about my new Mac and hope you can help me out and convince me that it wasn't a bad investment. Any suggestions would be appreciated. I have no idea where else to turn. Thanks.Anonymous

Ian - Without more details, it's hard to figure out what might be wrong. What happens when you have these crashes? Is it that Excel won't launch? Is it that you start working in a new blank workbook and it crashes? Is it that you start working in an existing workbook and it crashes? If it's the latter, is it only one workbook or is it several different ones? If it's several different ones, have you noticed anything in common across those workbooks (size, file type, something else)? A great resource when you have problems or questions is our product forums. Lots of product-specific experts hang out there and help folks out. I'll say that I'm not an Excel expert, so the questions that I've asked here are the basic ones. If you want a higher chance of an Excel expert helping you out, post your question here: http://www.officeformac.com/ProductForums/Excel/ Make sure that you add in more details than you've given here, such as answering the questions that I've asked here. Good luck!Anonymous

Do you why Entourage would ask the IMAP server to list Inbox* ? As opposed to Inbox/* or some such?Anonymous

I passed your IMAP question over to the engineering team to look into it.
