The PowerShell community is casting off for a conference on the water. PowerShell MVP Doug Finke is organizing a seven-day cruise to the Bahamas from New York City, scheduled June 18th - 25th 2016. Posh Cruise will deliver presentations over the course of three days at sea and the Call for Speakers is now open! Submissions are floating in and speakers and attendees are booking cabins. Twelve time PowerShell MVP Don Jones will be hosting a live webinar with the organizers and the travel agency to answer questions for anyone to listen in or check out the recording. PowerShell Community Celebrates Milestones!
PowerShell MVP Boe Prox celebrated the one million views mark last month on hisLearn-PowerShell.netblog! On the ever popular PowerShell.Org, Don Jones tells us how the 2015 Scripting Games have been re-imagined as a monthly puzzle with a July puzzle happening right now. Stay tuned for a celebrity post by Boe coming out at the end of the month where he will share his take on the puzzle.
PowerScripting Podcastjust surpassed the one million mark for total downloads this week! PowerShell MVPs Jon Walz and Hal Rottenberg launched their first episode back in March 2007, shortly after PowerShell’s introduction to the world. Their weekly podcast show is recorded before a live chatroom audience and delivers a fun and engaging way to have conversations with expert guest speakers and members of the community, all helping each other share and learn about new techniques, products, features and more.
