Powering The AI Of Tomorrow: The MVP Program Announces Its New AI MVP Award Category!

In his keynote speech at Build 2017, Satya Nadella observed a fundamental change in the apps we are building. “We’re moving from what is today’s mobile-first cloud-first world, to a new world that is going to be made up of an intelligent cloud and an intelligent edge,” he said.

Today our platforms are rich with Artificial Intelligence (AI), natural interface and IoT capabilities, and developers have the power to turn enormous amounts of data into knowledgeable insights. What’s more, we’re seeing the world of data move forward at an unprecedented pace - in fact, there will be an incredible 25 billion intelligent devices by 2020.

And it’s developers and data professionals like you who will build them.

In this, The MVP Award Program is pleased to announce an exciting addition to the MVP Award technology structure. We’ve added AI as a new MVP Award Category, effective May 10th!

In keeping with our promise to stay agile, the AI MVP Award Category will help us to better recognize and engage with technical experts in AI communities around the world.

Whether AI MVPs work to create intelligent apps and bots, develop natural interfaces, create AI algorithms, train data sets, are experts in Cognitive Service APIs or share their work and knowledge with the community, we are positive our new community members will be a driving force in shaping AI technologies.
