    Example is informative. But I want to know whether I can use CDOEX to access exchange server from a system where exchange server is not there, but connected in the network

    CDOEX is only supported from an Exchange server, accessing only mailboxes and public folders that reside on that Exchange server.  If you want to access Exchange off the server or stores on another server, you need to use WebDAV.
