Automation jobs fail with “The quota for the monthly total job run time have been reached”
SUMMARY: How to troubleshot "The quota for the monthly total job run time have been reached" error message.
I know many of you have integrated Operations Manager and OMS and leverage Azure Automation workflows so I thought this might be of interest to you. When using Azure Automation, you may see jobs begin to fail with the following error message:
The job has failed. The quota for the monthly total job run time have been reached for this subscription
This occurs when the job execution exceeds the 500 minute free quota for your account. Minutes are based on the number of job run time minutes used in a given month, and the quota applies to all job execution types (test, manual, webhook and scheduled) and all job execution sources (Azure and Hybrid). If you want to use more than 500 minutes of processing per month you will need to change your subscription from the Free tier to the Basic tier.

Hmmm, I don't see the option to change the pricing tier for my Automation Account
