Xbox winners for our Soup To Nuts webcasts mini-series.

Angela from our Microsoft Webcasts team just told me that we already have some Xbox winners from our first two Soup To Nuts Webcast mini-series.

Skip Kirby, September 3, 2004 webcast

Steve Horth, September 10, 2004 webcast

Skip told us he and his wife were looking to buy an Xbox for their 5 year old son. So winning an Xbox on MSDN Webcasts was very timely for his family. We’re glad to be of service. Skip if you can send us a photo, I’ll be sure to post it here on the blog.

I’ve got a 4 year old niece and a 6 year old nephew in Houston, Texas. I love it when the presents I ship them arrive in Houston, Texas, and I get a call from them saying, “Thank you, Uncle George!”

Sure feels good when you get the chance to do something nice for others. Well guess what? We’re giving out 12 more Xboxes…. no kidding really. So be sure to sign up for the next webcast this Friday. See official rules for details

By the way, we finally have a slick new Soup To Nuts web page thanks to Jennifer Walts, also on our webcasts team.

Check out the whole webcast mini-series at https://www.microsoft.com/seminar/events/series/windowsforms.mspx. They’re all live webcasts, but 12 hours after the live webcast date, we make them available as a on-demand webcast that a recording of the live webcast itself.

The presenter for Soup To Nuts is none other than David Anthony, who is great at teaching technologies to new students and helping the more experienced ones fill in the gaps in knowledge as well.
