Science and Engineering at Microsoft - Turning Ideas into Reality (Coming in May 2005)
https://research.microsoft.com/
This is a cool site if you haven’t' been here yet. These are the folks who grapple with the hard sciences behind our software and technologies we build and sell. I've been approached by them to host a webcast series to be presented by the scientists who are setting the direction of technology at Microsoft. It's going to take place in May, so be sure to tune then for a special webcast series on Microsoft Research called Science and Engineering at Microsoft - Turning Ideas into Reality.

I'm a regular MS-research visitor. I wouldn't mind a channel9.research.microsoft.com by the way or any other form of video and/or audio (like Technet Radio). So, by all means go ahead, you have one viewer already :) - Anonymous

Hi Erwin and Afshin,
Glad to hear the interest. I think this is going to be a really cool series for us as well as a chance for everyone to interact with some of the best minds here at Micrsosoft. I'm having a tough time trying to identify the follks who woudl be interested in this topic ares so if you can help me spread the word on this. I'm sure MS Research and Van Eden who I'm working with to pull this webcast series together would appriciate it.
Sincerely,

George:
You can count on me! I've already routed a lot of friends and family members to the MS Research web site already but I would be delighted to do more, whenever, however possible.
