WE-DIG January 2009 meeting - Silverlight Mobile, Wednesday Jan 7th

Where: Mount Si, Bldg 118, Microsoft Campus, Redmond WA

What: Microsoft recently announced Silverlight 2 on mobile at PDC. In this session, Amit and Anand will talk to you about core scenarios and value proposition for Silverlight on mobile; with interesting demos on what scenarios can be enabled with Silverlight 2.

Sounds like it will be a really interesting session!

    uhmm...for a long ago we have heard about the development of Silverlight for WM. I am worried not hearing anything about Silverlight for Windows CE...

    Hi Mike, When and Where can I find the "Silverlight for Mobile" Download? I'm a WM developer and eagerly waiting to try it out. Your help is appreciated.

    Hi RS, More information on the availability of Silverlight for Windows Mobile can be found here - http://silverlight.net/learn/mobile.aspx The short answer is that it's not currently available, timelines haven't been announced - keep watching the Silverlight Mobile site for more information.

    Hi Mike, Thanks for the update. Can you suggest me an alternative (e.g.Mobile simulator) until the Silverlight Mobile is available?

    Hi Mike, I may not have been clear on my previous post. I meant "alternative" as something that I can use to write and test Silverlight apps on my desktop/Mobile Simulator without actually loading on a actual WM device.
