Zune + Pioneer Navigation System

Last week I spent some time behind the dashboard of my car hooking up my new Zune to my Pioneer AVIC-D2. Actually it only took about 10 minutes and most of that time was removing and reinstalling the plastic facia of the dashboard. I took some video and sent it around to an internal Zune discussion list.   Can you please tell me whether the AVIC D2 plays DVDs? I thought the unit played both cd + dvd (without any other attachments) but the dvd doesnt play....says error 12

  Nope, the DVD slot is only for the navigation DVDs. I believe there is a separate attachment you can buy if you want to watch DVDs. More info is on the Pioneer website.
