Blah, blah, blog
8 days without a blog-able thought - not god. I've been laying low, writing use-cases and business requirements for a few new learning products and services these past few weeks. Thinking about things like what is the optimal length of an online course, what is the relevant value of a recorded demo vs. an interactive game, and how important is it to be standards conformant. Absolutely thrilling stuff :-), and opinions on all of the above are always welcome.
Taking a break from the heart-pounding action, I accidentally sat down at a lunch table of World of Warcraft players yesterday, and quickly remembered why I don't game. Never did, never will. Not how I'm wired. But I do kinda envy their ability to live in an alternate reality, at least some of the time. Feeling out-geeked at the WOW table, I enthusiastically returned to a conversation about Zeno's Paradoxes as an explanation of why I never get anywhere on time - I'm constantly going half the distance - dividing time and space into infinitesimally smaller chunks.

That is the story of my life!!! I am stuck in the endless maze of that D&D flowchart. Since I go have as far each step I seem to be getting nowhere fast these days. I guess the moral of the story is to be careful where you sit down for lunch. :-)
