This is due to the fact that this is a hosted trial and is dependent upon your bandwidth, local machine resources, etc. This does not necessarily represent the actual experience you will have with Windows Vista if it were installed on your PC.

    Yeah, that busted KVM switch did throw a spanner in the works for a bit there, eh? I appreciate the difference in perspective, but ultimately I think it's a distinction in approach. I don't think we are really that far apart, as evidenced by Ms. Rutkowska's comment '"I believe that the Vista security model is a good thing and that users can benefit from it, but Microsoft must change their attitude and start treating them as security mechanisms." And in her comments on Security Focus http://www.securityfocus.com/columnists/425/2 Thanks for bringing it up.
