Public Speaking

One of my tasks these days is to browse the web conduct research to understand how people are using the .Net Compact Framework so we can evolve the product in useful ways. I was especially happy to stumble on a talk I gave at TechEd 02 that is now part of the reading for a course at Purdue.

The reason I am so happy is that this talk basically bombed at TechEd. I had previously done an architecture talk at PDC that was well received, and the event folks signed me up for TechEd. Due to a misunderstanding, a 300 level architecture talk got billed as an intro talk. I still remember that sinking feeling watching so many eyes slowly glaze over. I’m glad someone is getting mileage out of it.

Mike.

Mike Zintel, the .NET Compact Framework's Group Manager, recently found CPT 355. Thanks Mike!...
