Join Us in Brighton for ReMix UK 08
If you haven't already done so, go take a browse at the agenda for ReMix UK, now published on the site. There are 4 tracks of 9 sessions as well as opening and closing keynotes. A key goal for me as a track owner was to ensure there was a structured path through the content. It *really* annoys me when I attend other conferences (particularly Microsoft ones) and this doesn't happen - ie each session seems to have simply "landed" in a random time-slot and location.
At ReMix UK you'll be able to sit back, relax and just let the whole developer track wash over you in one coherent wave. At least that's the idea. If you just want dev then you could sit through the whole of that track and [a] you'll notice some sort of flow [b] you'll notice some sessions build on others [c] it will all be extremely high quality.
Of course I wouldn't recommend you do this - there are plenty of other great sessions (including lots of dev sessions) on the other tracks. But the idea was to try and put something together that even *looked* like it had some thought put into it :-).
The dev track looks a bit like this:
- Intro to Silverlight 2 Pt1 (ScottGu)
- Intro to Silverlight 2 Pt2
- ADO.NET Data Services (Mike Flasko)
- Visual Studio IDE Tips and Tricks (Sara Ford)
- ASP.NET MVC (ScottGu)
- Internet Explorer 8 (Travis Leithead)
- Silverlight & Data (Mike Taulty)
- Silverlight Controls (Jesse Liberty)
- Rich Clients: From Silverlight to WPF (Tim Sneath)
I say "a bit" because those aren't the official session titles and of course the agenda is always subject to last minute tweaking.
I even changed the masthead on my blog (link for those of you reading a feed) for the occasion. What more could you ask for?
