Developing for Windows Phone 7 Slides
I did two sessions yesterday on Windows Phone 7 at opposite ends of the country (or at least it felt like that). For the first one I followed Mr Steve Ballmer on stage at our UK TechDays event. Not an easy gig in anyone’s book but at least I didn’t have to introduce him / fill the dead air (that was Marc’s job) or demo for him (that was Martin’s job). Then I caught the DLR / TFL / FGW express to Bristol to the .NET Developer Network (my thanks to Guy and all the folks who came along to listen to me).
Here are the slides I used for the .NET Developer Network event. They’re an “extended” version of the ones I used earlier in the day (and I had the chance to correct the glaring “Read Threads” typo).

Yesterday was the first time I’d used VirtuaWin virtual desktop manager. I was very impressed. Definitely a keeper. Makes the transition between slide and demo a lot smoother (and in my case allowed me to switch between the device video and other desktops seamlessly).
