Demos - Catching Up on Rich Clients Part 2

Following on from Part 1, here are my demos for Part 2 of the “Catching Up on Rich Clients”. Part 2 was entitled “10 (more) Things You Should Know About Silverlight”

image Slide Overview Image of the slide deck overview for this session to get your bearings (should you need them)
image DLR Console Allows you to play around with Python and Ruby in an interactive console built in Silverlight.
image Networking and Data Simple Twitter search client that will parse either ATOM or JSON responses. Shows the use of WebClient to make network requests, SyndicationFeed and JSON types, LINQ to easily transform results and simple databinding and templates. Note, it will throw script errors if a result has no profile image. I leave that as an exercise for the reader :-)

image Deep Zoom – Dynamic Mandelbrot Set Illustrates usage of Deep Zoom with a dynamic image source (rather than static, pre-processed sources).
