chirp – Really Nice Looking WPF Twitter Client

image

I’m afraid my screen clipping doesn’t really do it justice but it’s easily the best looking Twitter client I’ve seen.

Things I like:

  1. It’s WPF
  2. It’s ClickOnce
  3. Lovely UI design
  4. Infinite tweet scroll
  5. Nice transitions
  6. Very intuitive

Things I’d like:

  1. Keyword searches
  2. Replies view

Overall it’s now going to be a tough choice whether to fire up Digsby or chirp.

Find out more and download it here.

Thanks to Jon Galloway (@jongalloway) for bringing it to my attention.

It looks fabulous. Pity that is throws an exception on my system complaining that it can't parse the XAML. Oops! Mind you, I don't can't think much of their code quality if they didn't even bother to rename the window past the IDE's default of Window1. Sigh... I would have so loved that to work for me.

Not sure which download link you clicked Colin but I'd suggest you try the main "Download Now" rather than the "Also available for .NET 3.5 SP1" link. The latter version seems to be a bit problematic. Mike
