I am not sure if you guys check every one of Microsoft's million sites every day like I do... But in case you don't, here is one you should check out. The SNAP team has released some new office 2007/SPS 2007 SNAP utilities.

I know MikeGil was harassing me about this the other day...

This is pre-release 4 of phase 2 of the Microsoft Dynamics Snap program and it comprises of a snap-in called the 'Business data search snap-in'. This is an enabler application that allows business users to search for unstructured data across multiple back-office information sources simultaneously from within Microsoft Outlook 2007 / 2003. It is based on the Business Data Catalog core service provided with Microsoft Office SharePoint Server 2007. It allows business users to search Microsoft Dynamics AX 4.0, Microsoft Dynamics CRM 3.0 and Microsoft Office SharePoint Server 2007 portals from within Outlook and displays the search results in the familiar outlook search results format.

I am going to play with this when I get my new machine fully online... Until then, Mike here is your requested information. :-)

    Thanks, Ben -- we're getting Business Data Catalog up and running, showing off MSCRM content in our internal SharePoint portal, and I can't wait to try this out!  Great stuff!

    Do you know....Is there any way to get the snap to use the data in sql express for offline use rather than the CRM server?  I tried the obvious http://localhost:2525 It would be really nice to use this tool offline.

    the download is no more available on GotDotNet. Does any one know about any other place where we can download the CRM 3.0 SnapIn for Office 2007?

    I install CRM snap-in and dont work, have office 2003 but i have portuguese version, do i need to have english version to install and work?
