Gartner Rates Microsoft ‘Strong Positive’ for Microsoft Lync

Gartner Inc. just published its MarketScope for Enterprise IM and Presence (Gartner Research, David Mario Smith, July 5, 2011,) report, where Microsoft received a ‘Strong Positive’ rating.

Microsoft Lync brings people a new connected experience that transforms every communication into a conversation that is more collaborative, engaging and accessible from almost anywhere. Lync includes instant messaging, audio and video conferencing and presence capabilities, and is available as an on-premises solution or in the cloud with Microsoft Lync Online.
