A subtle example of Unified Communications

When I talk to someone about Microsoft Unified Communications,  I sometimes find it hard to include everything I want to talk about ... I even start to forget about the smaller things that joining the telephone to the desktop has done for me,  well today I got a lovely reminder.

I was listening to Eric Prydz - Pjanoo, which as it happens is an amazing song ... video is on YouTube here.  While I am listening to the tune in Windows Media Player (I may also have been nodding my head at the same time),  a telephone call comes in and I answer it.  Moving back to Windows Media Player I realise its paused the tune and dont need to stop it myself .... wicked :-). 

After the call,  I put the headset down and the music starts again :-). 

Simple I know,  and something no doubt most of you knew Communicator does ... but a good example of what happens when the PC and Telephone work as one ... and this post makes for a good music recommendation to boot ... what more could you ask for ?
