I have NO idea who the author is or why he's writing to me.

My name is XXXXXXX and I'm with XXX. We were founded in 1994 land, and maintain status as a small woman-owned business with a current GSA schedule and active secret DoD clearance. Our employees are highly qualified, skilled professionals.

We have been working with XXXXXX since 1999 on various engagements such blah, blah, blah. Our areas of competence on these engagements include Full Lifecycle Systems Development, Web Technologies, Mainframe Applications Support, Networking and Security.

I think this one fails the Godin test...relevant, personal, anticipated.

It fails the You/We test. You should write "you" 5 times as often as you write "We/I"
