Event Follow-Up Process...
An apology to those of you at yesterday's Blitz. I gave you some wrong info.
Here's the follow-up process for an event.
Anyone who registered to attend an event is loaded into Siebel as an activity for us to follow up on. It is tied to your organization and given a "PromoCode" which we will use to track the effectiveness of the event.
So, as Chris Hornbecker asked, yes...we can track whether people who did not attend an event, but ended up accepting a meeting (or going to another event), actually do become customers and purchase licenses.
