Do your own event...

Robert Schnell writes in:

We are planning on doing a series of quarterly ‘technology breakfast’ meetings beginning in September (ideally).

From the seminar in Reston a couple of weeks ago, I know that MS has tools to assist with planning and even providing lists of possible contacts for the subjects we will be covering (that was my understanding anyway).

If this is true, I was wondering if we would have access to this list, and I was also curious about who will be collecting the registration data for the event (you, us?).

Right on, Robert! Way to ask!

Here are some answers for you

1. For planning purposes, you should leverage the heck out of www.microsoftpartnerevents.com That’s where you can set up your own registration site, etc.

2. You can also use that site to find pre-built decks, templates, etc. for use during the seminar

3. As for lists…we can help you…if your topic aligns to the key focus areas of BI/SQL, Mobility, Vista, Office 2007, Exchange, or SharePoint. Let us know.

4. As for the registration data…it will be on the clicktoattend.com system, but you will have full access.

It's great to see a partner take advantage of what we've done for groundwork.
