Pat Litherland enters the blogosphere

Good to see that Pat Litherland has finally joined the blogosphere with his aptly named Approved 4 Humanity. As one of the most entertaining PMs you could ever share a conference table with, we can all look forward to great content, both on and off topic. Pat says that this blog is his first true effort at community engagement since joining Microsoft 4 years ago, but I can vouch for his commitment to customers. As Release Manager for the Windows SDK components that ship embedded into just about all of the Visual Studio 2008 versions, Pat worked his tail off to understand how developers use Visual Studio and the SDK together in order to ensure a good customer experience. Thanks largely to Pat’s efforts, you may not even realize that you’re using Windows SDK components when you install and use Visual Studio 2008.

Thank you Karin for the kind words and help getting the blog and internal issues worked out.  Now you can help me next week tweak the blog to include useful content and get the tags setup etc…. Pat Litherland
