New: Wikia Entertainment, Wikia Politics, Wikia Local Community

Wikia (the for-profit alter ego of Wikipedia – the collection of communities with websites that you can edit) just launched three for-profit sites: an entertainment community, a politics community and a local community. All sites allow users to blog, rate content and contribute, and include targeted ads.

The entertainment community provides episode guides, movie reviews, etc. The local community has sections for most towns in the United States.  Search for yours by Zip Code (nothing yet for Redmond). The politics community (with an amazing amount of content for a site that launched two days ago) is sorted by political party.
